Intro

When I started my career in life sciences, NGS and genomics weren’t nearly as mainstream across Europe and Africa as they are today. The field was rapidly evolving, and figuring out how to build product & marketing strategies to drive adoption across such diverse markets demanded adaptability, critical thinking, and a deep passion for innovation. No two regions, audiences, or partners are alike, and that’s what makes this space so dynamic and rewarding, especially as we move further into the multi-omics era. What began as scientific fascination during my studies has since grown into a career dedicated to bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and commercial success. I’ve spent the last decade working across sales, product management, marketing and commercial strategy, launching molecular diagnostics, NGS & automation platforms, implementing scientific workflows, executing regional campaigns, enabling distributors, managing scientific events, and building engagement across omics, molecular diagnostics, infectious disease, and cell biology markets. I’ve worked on both the supplier and distributor sides, giving me a 360° perspective on how to adapt strategies for impact. From co-creating the Genomics Unlocked platform to leading the first International Conference of Genomics in EMEA (ICG-17, Riga), I take pride in combining strategic vision with hands-on execution. Alongside my work in life sciences, I’m now applying that experience more broadly through Opus Recruiter and selected consulting work across commercial strategy, market positioning, go-to-market and growth. I’m particularly interested in the intersection between science, commercial strategy and emerging technology, and in working with ambitious businesses and people who are building something worth paying attention to.
